Angry Heat/Air Problem??

I have a 2000 Ford ranger v6 3.0L 2WD My heat works fine but I have two issues first one is that The only time the heat/air will work is if the blower is turned all the way to high. And now today the only vent I can get the heat/Air to come out from is the window defrost...I can turn the knob to feet or face but it still only comes out the front window defrost?? Please help i cant control the Heat/Air!!!

Re: Heat/Air Problem??

i dont know about the second problem but the first sounds like a bad blower motor resistor.18-25$ and 20 minutes of wrenching should make that problem fixed.
