Making of NISMO 400R [R33]

Hi,
I'm little tired with making R32 engine bay so started out to painting 400R.
this is Tamiya R33 kit with SAS 400R transkit.

Applied gray primer.
Chris's molding is very sharp and delicate. I love it.

carved air scoop on side skirt.

Painted body mixed dark orange metallic. clear coating now.

Looking very nice. Do you use an airbrush to paint? Also what kind of clear coat do you use?

Yes, I use airbrush and I'm using "Finisher's Auto Clear" for clear coat.

do you spray it right after the color, or you polish the color, apply decals and then spray clear?

does it come in the spray can or a bottle for the airbrush?

Finisher's is a lacquer hobby paint from Japan. It comes in little jars meant for airbrushing. I got mine directly from Japan from Rainbow10 http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/

You can also get it from http://www.macsmodeling.com/index.htm

Those are the only 2 places that I know of to get it. I like R10 though, so that's fine with me.
