wouldnt it be cool if the police pulled you over for NOT speeding and handed you a reward... kinda like a random thing every once in awhile. You know... I leave a little early, drive at the limit, save tonnes of gas... I mean, so much more fuel and that could be saved by just slowing down ten or fifteen... just some random two cents

Granted it'd be sweet as hell if we had an Autobahn, I just don't have that much faith in American drivers to not clog it up with idiocy.

common misconception about autobahns, there are only a few de-resticted autobahns. most have speed limits. also, if the police patrolling the de-restricted ones think you're not driving safely or responsibly, you can be stopped.

If they did that, people would bitch about getting pulled over for no reason, and that the cop wasted their time.

yeah... he's right though... this has nothing to do with anything. Add to that you shouldnt have to be rewarded to do whats right... I suppose when your a week away from a paycheck and your fridge blows up you start thinking about crazy shit like this...

sort of, i wouldn't classify paying taxes as contributing to society, everyone with an income pays taxes, it's a legal thing you have to do.

i'd say contributing to society would be like helping people, donating money for local causes and the like.

Well damn. Guess that furthers my dreams of having car fast enough that cops won't be a problem. Btw, do they have any "special" police cars roaming the Autobahn? Like here they have Camaro's and Corvette's in some places.
