89 Plymouth Voyager
In the morning, starts on the first turn. After that, have to crank the starter 6 or 8 times before it starts.

With no engine size or maintenance history it's tough to get specific. Easy stuff to start with:
Ignition - Spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap/rotor, test coil and inspect/clean connections, test battery and clean post connections Fuel system - can of injector cleaner, listen for pump, tap on fuel tank, change filter Clean Idle Air Control valve if an 89 has one. Clean throttle body. Check for fault codes.
