BMW vs MAXIMA

hey everyone i have a 96 Maxima that i want to trade in. I am thinking of getting a 95 BMW 2 Dr 318ti Hatchback. Or should i just stick with getting another Maxima. Is getting a beemer a wise move, or should i just stay faithful the nissan?

well, you can't copare a Nissan Maxima with a BMW, BUT!!!

Think smart, you're not going to buy the car N' that's it, cars need spare parts, maintinence, and many other things, I'm to sleepy to remember what's in my mind, but I tell ya one thing, just buy yourself a 5th gen maxima, just like if your old baby grew up, trust me Maximas never let you down, I love this car...

oh, and yes, only few cars have " owners community ", Just like the maxima.

i have a 95 se maxima 5 spd with a few aftermarket modifications. Do not buy a bimmer. Maxima's are faster than all the 3 class cars. They don't start puttin 6 cylinder engines in the bmw's til recently. I even raced a 97-ish 5 class and once i put my car in 3rd gear that fucker was a little dot in my rearview.

the 318ti is the ugliest car I've ever seen. Now if you were trading it for a regular 318is, or a 318i, then maybe, but not that UGLY hatch.

i have changed my mind to wanting to get a 325i... what do you think of that, is the max still better ? shoudl i stick, ahhh!!!!

BMW SUX UNLESS U GET THE NEW 745. EVEN THE 330 IS 225HP AND THE MAXIMA IS 255...AND ITS A BMW WHAT CRAP

Be smart both financially & in the mind of performance, for what you'd pay for a BM, you could take the difference between the 2, mod up your 5th gen max and whip on that BM as though it stole somethin from U.

I'm not sure how tall you are or if you ever have passengers in your car, but the but the 3 class is not people friendly. Secondly, I am as fond of a well tuned car as the next guy, but beemer have that awful "snob" stinch. Third, the max has a better maintenance record than any class beemer. Ask a tow truck driver, he'll tell ya!

True that! Although there is one euro in my car club that i hated when it first came in, but it is a black jetta trek '97, it has 17" Giovannis on it and it is slammed. But that is to only one i like, even though i would never own it, simply b/c it is 4cyl, but it's nice and it suits her personality, i think most euros are chick cars anyway, and i like more aggressive looking and handling cars

Are you kidding me, "friends don't let friends drive European", what are you talking about? The Europeans make the best driver cars in the world. A few examples: M5, M3, M Roadster and Convertible, almost any AMG(albeit w/o stick), Audi RS4, RS6, S8, any non Boxster Porsche (because Boxster's blow!), Ferrari anything, the list goes on and on. Ask anyone who really knows their shit who makes the best high-powered vehicles, and German/Italians will be at the top of the list:bandit:

i would trade my maxima for any amg in a heartbeat and don't get me started on posche and ferrari.
