'98 beetle wiper issues

Well, this just started. If I put the wipers on high, low, or hit the wash they will not work. If I put them on delay, they will. Anyone have an idea what's going on here? Thanks

yes and it was fine. I wonder if this is wired into 2 circuits though.

ended up being a loose relay under the dash.
