peugeot 206 aftermarket radio unit on and off

Hi everyone,
if someone could help me, please

I intalled a aftrmarket radio unit in my 2001 peugeot 206 (not Multiplex version) and when i put my radio loud it goes on and off repeatedly.
I verified with another radio unit and happens just the same.
Does someone knows why?

does the radio turn off completely then turn back on by itself ? Do you have other amps and equipment installed with the radio ?

My radio does something similar to this, you turn it up to about 27, and it will lose power for about 3 seconds, and then come back on by itself. Any suggestions?

sounds like a self resetting circuit breaker.
