Welcome!

The purpose of this section is to post information on Grand Am repair tips, maintenance guides and removal and replacement information. It is not a section for repair questions so please don't ask. Limit all questions to the appropriate problem forums. The information posted here should provide you with the necessary information to do standard automotive projects and repairs.

Re: Welcome!

To add to what GTP Dad is saying, about the R&R procedures.

I have been getting some parts lists together for the 99-03 models.

They are still a work in progress.
When finished we will have a common parts section.

The common parts section would be things that are commonly replaced more often.
Things like thermostats, light bulbs, & filters, etc , broken down by engine model.

This is all to simplify searching for parts.

As of now they are GM part #'s.
As time goes by we'll have other Parts stores #'s.
