Question Fuel Systems: Stock turbo and N/T

Does anyone know how close the stock fuel systems are from a turbo to N/T eclipse/talon? I know that the stock turbos run rich from the factory. Is this true for the N/As also? I understand that there is some tuning differences out of the box from the factory, but how close are they? I want to tune mine up with the AFC bc I screwed up some settings and I'm comparing to a stock GST. I know, I know... the best way is to retune from scratch, but I like to compare it to something so I know if I'm on the right direction. Thanks

You can always reset the AFC... that puts it back to its factory default values... other than that... I'm clueless...

Yeah, that's what I did on accident. I had it setup perfectly, and I don't remember at all what I had. I think I originally based it off stock GST setup.

for a stock GST you don't change any settings...

you set the intake setting to karman (vortex) and the cylinders to 4 (or 2, depending on ECU) and the throttle to progressive (^)... and that's it...

Check VFAQ... they have a thing on it... I didn't play with any of the other settings yet though... I b/l my O2 is dying... so I'll be getting a wideband before tuning anyway...

I have the initial settings all fine. Everythings all setup and ready to go, the maps are lost though. They're all at 0% across the board.

All of mine are 0% too, but with the stock fuel system, I don't think there's anything that needs to be changed...

depending on the weather, I may have to add 1-3% in the top end to keep from leaning out...

Re: Fuel Systems: Stock turbo and N/T

Ok, so I remembered what I was actually trying to get at wit the original post. With both totally stock cars, do they both run rich?

I found the original that I worked off of last time. It shows that for stock GST, that for the most part the High-Throttle was like this:

High Setting:
1K +0 2K -1 3K -1 4K 0 5K 0 5.5K +3 6K +4 7K +5

It seems like theres barely any change there. Would leaning it out really help in the lower rpm? Again, would this be similar to the n/t?
