97 lumina, sudden stall and no start

Ok everyone, heres my delema. But first off hello to you all.
I have just purchased a 97 lumina ls, 3.1L engine. It has 159,000 miles. Ran great for the first two weeks. went to start it on friday and was in for a treat. It started, and drove about 20 ft, engine lagged hard for a second and went back to normal right away. with out stalling. drove another 100 yards or so and up and stalled out completely. When I went to restart it just cranks over. has a strong chrank, turns over good. will just not start.

Check:
-turned the key to the on possition to verify fuel pump was running.(alerady has new fuel filter) good.
-pulled a plug wire to verify spark. good
-checked fuel pressure at the fuel rail via check valve. good.
- hooked up OBD scanner to DLC. no codes stored in PCM.
- Checked data stream and found that there is a fuel injector pulse width of 55.8 m/sec.

See this I realized that the injectors are not operating as they should be. sence the pulse width is supposed to be between 0.8-4.0 m/sec.

I seem to think there is a PCM problem here, but am not too sure about domestic vehicles and thier specs. ( I am a honda tech at dealership
-domestic is a different beast. especially send I don't have an ETM for a chevy. Any help would be greatly sought after. Thank you in advance for any help. The car rental for this is going to get costly in a hurry!
