1998 Eldo alarm issue

Hi all. Please advise. Circuit City installed Pioneer Tuner/CD w/Sirius receiving unit. After car is locked for a specific amount of time auto key fob will not function. When unlocking door with key and starting car the alarm activates. CC indicated that the alarm system isn't maintaining a charge. First they installed a power booster. No luck. Then they installed cable from battery to alarm unit however this has not solved the issue either. Once car is driven the alarm unit recharges and all is fine. Untill the car is parked for several hours. Any suggestions/solutions? Thank you
