Revell: SRT8 Magnum

Some flubs. Threw out the metal exhaust tops by accident Some loose parts scratched the body ever so slightly while in the box. The kit builds up great. Minor flaws such as, 99% fit with the taillights. And the rear passenger side doesn't want to stay down on the chassis too well.

The guitar. I haven't done anything with it.

Re: Revell: SRT8 Magnum

Yea. It was a little "extra" they included. Also a decal for the trunk floor that looks like some kind of speakers.

Re: Revell: SRT8 Magnum

Looks pretty awesome Frank. I like the color you have chosen for it, and the black hood stripes really make it pop. The guitar is a cool extra, are you going to paint it the same color as the body and then pain the pick guard black to match the hood?

Re: Revell: SRT8 Magnum

I'm pretty disappointed with the tired Revell included with the kit.

But your build is great. Good color choice.

Re: Revell: SRT8 Magnum

Looks great, Frank! What's with the weird panel line on the roof? Does the rear open? Is it correct? Silly no-name tires, they just look weird. They'd probably better off with some sort of unintelligable writing on the side, instead of nothing. Looks great, though, they did a good job rendering the front of it without losing the style of the 1:1.

Fantastic colour. This is really an eye catching model. If you do end up painting the guitair and make a little Marshal stack, you'd really have something there.......
Again, congrats on this build. It sure looks good.

Re: Revell: SRT8 Magnum

Looks killer in that color! First Magnum I've seen finished, nice work.

BRE350Z has one from Scale Auto to build and review for them, and he told me last week he wanted to paint it Plum Crazy, and I told him he'd already been beaten to the punch

I'll make sure he sees this thread
