drilled and sloted rotors

hello i have drilled and sloted rotors on my 91 300zx. is there any certain way they are supposed to be put on? not how to put them on, but is there any difference in front or backs. or lefts from rights? a budy of mine said they looked funny like the curved slots have to be pointing a certain dierection??? anyone help me with this?

I believe this comes with either the StopTech or Brembo kit.
