94 crown vic no start

Hi,I have a 94 crown vic and it wont start,just put a new battery in it and still nothing not even a click! is there anything i should check before i take the starter? thank-you

Check both ends of the battery cables, making sure they are clean and secure. Make sure the red/lightblue wire going to the starter has power when the ignition switch is in the start position.

There is also a 20 amp fuse in the ubderhood fuse box. If it blows it will cause the problem you describe.
