I had some freinds help me put new brake shoes on my 2003 ford taurus. Now I have a clicking noise comming from the rear passenger side. I have removed both drums and inspected all the brake hardware and it all lookes correct. I noticed that the driver side and passenger side brakes and hardware were installed exactlly the same. What I think the problem is, shouldent one side of the brake shoes and hardware be installed in opposite direction as the other side? Is this my problem? Thanks

Re: Rear brake problem 2003 taurus
Yes it is a mirror reflection from one side to the other.
Make sure your brake shoes are in the little notches. Also adjust the self adjusters out until you feel a little bit of drag on the shoes Mike
