1995 Silverado how to remove steering wheel w airbag?

I want to replace the MFC switch & wheel needs to come off.

Disable the sirs, disconnect battery for 10 minutes, use extreme caution here put the air bag away from the work area with the airbag facing up. Normal procedures after this.

The horn center will not pull out, there are no screws in the back of the wheel??

Thanks for the tip. Factory GM manuals are clear as mud. I bought them with the car way back.

After all that the replacement MFC does not fix the blinkers shorting. Hazards work fine, no wiring appears damaged. Trailer tow plug has no effect, new bulbs all around.

Sounds like a bad ground...
