ground wires
My Aztek is not getting any voltage to the thermostat. I want to check the ground wire for this. Does anyone know where that ground wire is?

Re: ground wires
I don't believe the thermostat has any electrical connections. Do you mean the temp gauge appears to not be working?

Re: ground wires
My temp gauge doesn't work at all when it's cold. The heater still works fine so my thermostat is working. When the codes were read it said there was no voltage going to either the coolant temp sensor or the thermostat. I know the thermostat doesn't have a wire connector to it. I need to check the ground wires but I'm not sure where they are at.

Re: ground wires
Hhmm I believe the coolant temp sensor should be grounded where its attached. The reason I asked about temp gauge is I have seen quite a few instances lately of stuck open thermostats on 01's that create codes and no reading (low) on gauge (vechicle running to cool creates codes). I don't know where any ground wires would be. Good luck
