whats your favorite.

here's an off topic question, that is semi about cars but more about opinions

do you have a favorite car.

i cannot seem to name one car that is my favorite.
people always ask me, and i can never give an answer because i like so many cars for so many different things.
it seems that the people who can give a definite answer are the same people who say "DUDE, I wanna put a TURBO in MY car... wouldnt that be Sweet? dude, turbos are SOOO cool dude... " meanwhile they know nothing about turbos, cars, or coolness.

right now, i'm leaning towards a 71-72 chevelle (the BIG one)
a 68 merc cougar (sexy)
03 or whatever dodge viper CONCEPT (the one with the roof scoop)
C-7 corvette (i guess the C-# format has finally set in)
or an 05-04 SVT Cobra mustang concept(with the huge wing on the back. also the only other ford i would buy other than the GT)

for the chevelle i would like it black with twin white racing stripes.
merc cougar would be pearlescent white.
viper would be viper blue with black stripes and green or white pinstriping
corvette would be yellow (they shouldnt come in any other color. except maybe graphite)
mustang would be red. pure red.

Re: whats your favorite.

97 F-150. Maroon, 2 door, with a dent in the back left side and camo seat covers and a tool box and a shitty cd player with blown speakers on the drivers side. And a bottle of absinthe under the seat. Yay for my truck!

Re: whats your favorite.

i can tell you my favorite at the moment, i'd need to sit down for a while and think out a favorite of all time (even then i might end up with a brain aneurysm).

I'd say right now i'm really fascinated by the Audi's newest S8. It's nicer looking than an S-class and a 7-series, has a Gallardo V-10 bored out to 5.2L, and it looks simple, which is what wins me.

Re: whats your favorite.

E31 1995 BMW 850CSi.

My all time favorite dream car. 5.5 liter S70 V12, 375 bhp, 402 lb ft torque

Such a unique car that's still ahead of its time.

Re: whats your favorite.

My vr4.

Countach was my favorite for years. Followed closely by the Bugatti EB110. Now the Veyron is up there as well.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: whats your favorite.

Thats is and always will be a tough question. I'm more of a muscle car fan than an exotic fan but I've never been able to choose between these:

1. 86 or 87 Grand National
2. 69 Mach 1 Mustang
3. 67 Mustang Fastback (think Elanor from gone in 60 seconds...)

Realistically, I'd settle for a Regal T Type as I could actually afford one of those someday when I get out of college.

At first, my favorite was the DB5, but then someone posted that pic in the "Sexiest car ever" thread (in Car I Like/Cars I Hate section) and I was hooked. In-fact, that pic is my desktop wallpaper.

I have yet to see a car I would rather have. The styling and lines are simply irreplaceable and unforgettable. I know many who posts classic cars because it is the respectable thing to do, but the pure aesthetics of this car is absolutely brilliant, for example I think the Jaguar E-type is disproportional and hideous with the top up. I know it has immense historical significance, but its hideous in my opinion (the coupe version). But the Lusso has everything I would want in a fine automobile.
The styling, both classic and sultry, exudes pure sex wherever it goes -if I owned that car, I would allow nothing but a nicely tailored suit to touch it. It doesn't flaunt its presences like a Mercedes or BMW. It attracts your attention, not forces itself on you. It is simple, yet so unique at the same time. When you see it in the parking lot, you do not get jealous. You do not want harass it and race it to the next light, you just want to sit back and simply admire it.
The pic hasn't been altered as much, there isn't "special lighting", crazy/CGI backgrounds, airbrushing, or other automotive "make-up". It is naturally beautiful.

In addition, the Tipo 168 wasn't just any Ferrari engine. It was the engine first used in the highly successful and race only 250 GTO. It was simply de-tuned abit and incorporated into the "civilian" 250 GT Lusso.
-But then again, Ferrari has always been known for blurring the line between race and production cars. -I just think this is the best example.

I have never driven one, so I can't judge on handling, but being that this is a Ferrari and many of its design cues are based off of, or are similar to the GTO, I'm sure it handles very well.

It is a race car with conservative off-track stylings.
Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Obviously by my name the F355. I thought I was starting to fall in love with the new F430, but I saw a yellow one on my my way to work yesterday and that's all it took. I've fallen back in love with a yellow F355 Berlinetta with the challenge grille.
