Revell 1969 Baldwin Motion Camaro

Since most of the pieces on this kit are supposed to be painted black i just gathered all of them together and sprayed them black. the body already has all the cots of blue but it doesn't have the desired gloss that i was looking for, its some sort of wierd race finish, definately not on my list again. so i am either going to get a clear coat or a same shade/different brand of blue paint to see if i get a good sheen. pics later tonight.

Here are some pics with the second to last layer on, you will notice that there were some spots that needed sanding and i took care of them.
the blue isn't really as light as it appears either.

I've outline the body parts that were painted to make it easier to see.

here are all the pieces that needed to be painted black.

and i thought i'd throw in a pic of a project car that i'll hopefully be getting around to doing. its a really beat up C4 targa vette that i got from my friend. both the windshield and the back glass are missing so i think i'll use a spare windshield and convert it into a convertible.

right now I am waiting to put the stripe on the car, hopefully i don't fock it up. so if you see the finished product without a stripe then you'll know what happened. the car is basically done though.

Snowie is buying some CSC
The hood is a bit darker than the body and it has texture to it. I'll be stripping the paint off tonight and hopefully i'll be working on it tomorrow.

You guys suck! I had to go all the way back to page 5 to find this thread! The Camaro is currently complete. but the very moment I stepped outside to take pictures it started to rain. so you'll have to wait for the final product. the Decals on the hood gave me a biatch of trouble so it looks a little wierd.
