Completed this in the summer. Decided to take some photos to share. This is the first model built after discovering this forum, it is by far my best yet, what do you think??

Re: Gt 350 H

Other than the hideously large rims it looks nice Also and odd colour for an H model

Re: Gt 350 H

well, i really wish you would have put on some more modestly sized rims, but other than that, nice work.

Re: Gt 350 H

in all honesty i did not plan on putting rims that big on. I actually ordered 6 sets of Dub style rims off of ebay and in the picture i couldn't really get a good idea of the actual size. It said they are for 1/24 scale models so i went ahead and placed the order. When i got them i was shocked at their size, but decided to cut away and make them fit. I have decided to use them and create a bunch of models that will inspired by the DUB city diecast collection. I guess you either like the style or not...

Re: Gt 350 H

I dont think the style is the problem its just they are un realisticly large .... Do you realise how big those babys would be in real life? and the fact that they would be rubbing on the engine and top of the fenders/hood/trunk lol .... Not to mention it would be a straight line only car cause there is no way those things could get any turning radious

Re: Gt 350 H

yeah i realize that, they are the same size as the rims on the dub scale diecast models. I guess i have to only build cars that will accomodate these huge rims. Like giant impalas and road runners. Any suggestions on making it look more realistic.
