CD Player

Hey, I was wonderin if hooking my cd player to the hot on the cigerette lighter would drain juice from my battery, even if the unit is turned off. Please help me out.

Probably. are you talking about hooking up a portable. if anything you could hook up a switch in the circuit, or just buy a car CD player.

its a car cd player, I didn't have a hot to hook it up to, so i hooked it to my cigerette lighter, i dont use it anyway. it should be fine as long as its off. i think, just needed a second opinion.
