Child of the eighties: Joest Porsche 962C

Another project I'm working on.

A Tamiya Porsche 962C, straight oob.

For the moment I'm crapping out more models than Oli has sex with himself.

And now I'm going to drink some Stella's with my masterbating homie Oli

Comments are welcome.

Stijn

The model looks great, don't let Oli near it...or his gas!

Anyway, I'm building this kit straight oob. But does anybody know which race this car raced in? I thought it was Oschersleben '87, but I'm not too sure about that.

Kind regards,

Stijn

No no this is absolutely impossible. The car certainly raced during the 80's World Sportscar Championships, but NEVER in Oschersleben. During the 80's Oschersleben was clearly behind the "Iron Curtain" and out of reach for a Group C Porsche, even it was as fast as this one!

You're right man! What was I thinking. I confused Norisring with Oschersleben. Man o man, I'm an idiot

Re: Child of the eighties: Joest Porsche 962C

Hi there!

After a couple of Tamiya-less months, I finally managed to stop biking and start modeling again. Here's the progress on my Joest 962C

Cheers!

Stijn

PS Thank's to Oli for the weathering kit & tutorial. He sure knows a lot about messing things up!!!

The weathering on this car is really stunning! I must learn this, too... Only the rear rims still need a light weathering. Great job!

Good to see it finished, Stijn!

Never let Oli get involved!
