Mazda 626 Catalyst converter problem

Hi! I need help on my Mazda 626 model 1999 4cyl. The problem is the check engine light come on. I took it to the Autozone they checked and told me that I needed to change the catalyst converter. Can anyone tell me where I can order the part with a affordabe price. I had called the Mazda dealer, it cost me $279.00. Thanks!

A cheaper method is to get a universal fit from an autoparts store. The genereic converter may continue to trip the light though.
