97 ply grand voyager

I have a 3.3 engine. Runs smooth,gets good mileage, but once or twice a day it misses just for a split second,going up hill or down. If going slow will shut off but always starts right up. OBDll scan tool reads P0401. Any ideas
or suggestions?

p0401 points to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Flow Insufficient,I would look at either plugged/defective egr valve or plugged tube.
