GTI, tc, or Tiburon

Alright guys you may remember me from when I asked about new car recommendations before. Now I have narrowed down my choices to the new GTI, tc, or Tiburon. For looks I think the Tib is best, performance the GTI, and overall reliablitity I believe would be the tc. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Re: GTI, tc, or Tiburon

Agreed. Can't say I'm a huge fan of any of them, but if you can afford it, definantly go for the stock-turbod GTI.

Re: GTI, tc, or Tiburon

GTI regardless of year. I dislike the tiburon and the TC is only a couple notches above in my opinion.

Re: GTI, tc, or Tiburon

I'd go with the tC and get a TRD supercharger. You can still keep your warranty. I'd be concerned about the reliability of the VW. So what if it's under warranty? It's still inconvinient to stay in line at the dealership waiting to get your car fixed.

Re: GTI, tc, or Tiburon

The new MazdaSpeed3 also just caught my attention, it seems like the best bang for the buck. Also why doesn't anyone like Tiburons?

Re: GTI, tc, or Tiburon

I would rather alot of cars in that price range. The GTI is likely my favorite, the Si is pretty nice as well. There is also the Cobalt SS. I would like all three of them over the TC or Tiburon.

Re: GTI, tc, or Tiburon

the tc is rather nice, but i personally dont like the tibs. they seem to handle boost well aready. the thing with the gti, is that its already turbo. if you really want more power, you could do the diode mod and push about 230whp without buyin anything. its just that the gti has more, how would u say this, 'potential' as you can upgrade it rather nicely and not have to drop 3k on a turbo kit for a car that isnt tubro/supercharged...

or grab the tc, and the trd supercharger. either way those are both nice choices. if you just learning to drive stick, id grab the tib, since 10 yr warrenty on transmission as well. u could basically break it and get a new one free.
