Question daytime running module

My 98 ranger daytime running lights won't go off with ignition switch or emergency brake application.

To save battery I've pulled the fuse.

Where is the control module for this function?

I found it. It is almost in the left front wheel well under the headlight.
Probably thats why it failed as there was corrossion inside the module when I cracked it open. $163.00 later. Ford has a better idea when it comes to selling parts eh?
