how hard is it
To change the lower ball joints, mine are busted and im going throw tires everyother week, and help would be great, o yea its a 86 non turbo

theyre easy to change if you have a ball joint press .. idk how they are on you car some cars they are part of the lower control arm and you have to replace the whole assembly.. it takes probably like 20 mins total to change the lower ball joints if youve done them before..

As a tip, you will want a good long handled wrench and or a 1/2" air impact gun. Then it will take you about 15min otherwise its going to take about a hour.

all i really need to know is do they need to be pressed out, i work at a honda dealer so i have everything to do it i just want to know what im getting into before i do it

That my freind is a question for the Z31 people. On the Z32 its part of the lower control arm.
