The timing belt was probably installed incorrectly.

It is also possible that the valves got bent when this occurred.

I would need more info to help, why was the head gasket replaced??

Well as far as I know the timing belt was installed correctly. Well this is what happened one of the bolts were not properly torched down all the way. you could take it out by hand. So it caused the head gasket to break is what I am told. So now everything is back togther and we you go to start the car it will turn over but not fire up to crank. Fuel is coming out of the injectors. We had thought the injectors were the reason but it was not. I think that is everything as far as I know.

Check and see if you have spark from the ignition wires. If not check the DIS fuse and make sure that it is not blown.

It is the fuse that powers the ignition coil pak. It is located in the engine compartment fuse box.

Also check to make sure that the ground wire is attached to the manifold bolt on the drivers side. If memory serves it is the ground for the ignition.

I rebuilt a head once and forgot to attach the ground wire and it would not start because of that.

How does it sound when you try and start it up? It could be the timing belt. If thats the case...thats big trouble. But did it die while you were driving it? And if the timing belt broke then your valves bent. That gets costy. But thats just a suggestion.
