2001 ATX SOHC - Replaced ECU - wont start
Hi, im new to this forum, but a great need has me here..
Im from Europe and it seems that the Dodge service here has much to be desired... I trashed my 01 SOTCH ATX in the lighting pole, some 6 monts ago. No i was not drung, there was field works around and someone spilled around 50lites !!! of oil on the road... Long story shot, i got everythin, including new ECU ( i trashed my drivers side, obviusly ) but neon wont start!!! I got everythng i needed to the last bulb... Here are the specifics: It wont even crank. When i do the 4 key thing it shows me the next codes: P1684 Battery Disconnected in the last 50 Starts The battery has been disconnected within the last 50 starts. P1685 Skim Invalid Key The engine controller has received an invalid key from the SKIM. P0508 IAC (AIS) MOTOR SENSE CKT LOW Undercurrent condition detected in linear idle air control motor feedback sense circuit I emphasise that i bought the ECU from Tampa Florida and they said it has no security info in it. They, however did not program it with my VIN. They again said it was not necessary... When i disconect the SKIM module below the whell the P1685 dissapears. I have tried to rewire the staring module (it is called alnaser here, sorry i dont know the en word) and then it crank, but wont start. After lokking around it apperas that the injectros are not releasing fuel. Fuel gets to them but is not released... Pleas help, i dont wanna tow to to USA )))Thanks a lot |

Re: 2001 ATX SOHC - Replaced ECU - wont start
You are required to get the VIN programmed into the ECU, when they don't match the car will not start, they place you ordered the ECU from LIED to you. Take it to dodge or chrysler and the should be able to program it for you.
