Lightbulb Battery Moving

i know it is not needed with the types of mods i have done and are doing still, but i want to move my battery to my trunk.

my short ram rubs it, it lessens the space and airflow to my intake, hard to get tools to it. i have to take it out when i need to get somewhere else under my hood.

i am looking for a better way to do this than to just buy a kit from the net and end up not getting what i wanted. is there a better way? or a kit that has solid instructions?

Re: Battery Moving

ur right about it being a strain on the alternator.....they are only built to push the power a couple feet to the battery in the engine bay, not 6-7 feet back to the trunk. it puts a lot of strain on it to push 12v all that way. if u do decide to put ur battery in the trunk, but sure to get some big gauge cables, so they will carry more current and not put as much strain on the alternator.
