Help, Acorns in my AC/Heating fan and ducts

This may sound stupid, but my cavalier has been parked for about 3 weeks under an oak tree in my yard. I used it this weekend and turned on the ac fan and it sounded like there were marbles stuck in the fan.

I was playing around with the controls and was able to get one of the things to pop out of a vent under the dash. It was an acorn.

Does anyone know how I can remove the acorns that are clogging my Heat/AC? and how to prevent them from getting in there?

Thanks,
Eric.
