88 Fiero Formula vs 96 lt1 Camaro

oh damn it's been forever since I've posted here... many changes cars painted blue not red and a bunch of other crap!

I was heading home from the grocery store on a curvy road suggested speeds 35 for the corners and in my daily driver 93 bonneville I wouldn't go over 45. Long story short I see a Camaro coming up fast, I'm guessing he's thinking "hahah fiero" were going along on a straight away I'm in 3rd so he can hear me I hammer down and hit 90. He's aways back now.

He insists on riding my butt and the corners are coming up I just go normal around them 50-55 no brakes see he's hanging pretty good and he's probably thinking he's going to kill me. I pick up to about 65 and he's fading a little. Another straight away now he's right on my ass again, but again another corner and this time I just leave in 4th at 55 and see him coming hard into the corner I was like ok done being nice 95 and I'm whizzing around the corners stuck like a train on rails!

It was such an adrenaline rush, I was a bit freak just at how fast I was going around the corners (I knew the limits of what not to do, triple digits around corners no thanks) well he was a spec now but another straight away and he comes up again. I was like fine, from 55 again 4th gear, didn't bother to use 3rd I mashed it down to 115 could hardly see him, but noticed he turned off a little later.

I wonder if he'll look at fiero's a little different, everyone around here seems to laugh at them even when I tell them it's a 6 supercharged "still a 6 they tell me"

1 kill for this year maybe next year will be a bit better, coil packs had me stumped for most of the year and with it being painted.

summary:
fiero out cornering camaro
camaro hangs at 55 in cornering
fiero 95 in cornering camaro gone
camaro catches on straight away
fiero 4th gear hits 115 camaro again gone

Sweet race. I love those ones where your car really shines and your adrenaline is bumped into high gear. Such a rush!

-15Gs, 3sx aluminum pulley, FMIC, SAFC, walboro pump, EVO 560ccs, and Meth Injection Kit all waiting to go in shortly.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

thanks for the comments everyone took a huge change painting it blue and putting some side scoops on, but over all it's rockin in my book. A lot of people will pull up and laugh cause of the supercharged emblem right on the front fenders or ask why I modded a 4 cylinder fiero. I still have to buy another set of recessed lights had to sell my others, so its more or less more stock looking now. The whole headlight thing gave it a updated look.

no idea yet, I plan on ploppin it up on the dyno shortly. I'm guessing 300-310 at the wheels? I may end up reworking the whole wiring and going auto hopefully next year. The 5spd that's in it now bites, 1st and 2nd last maybe 1 1/2 seconds for each one, and 3rd 3 seconds. Last time I did a video way back when I was untuned, stock exhaust, no intercooler and 3.25 pulley 5-100 was about 9 seconds.

mods are below:

3800 Series II Supercharged
West Coast Fiero 3800 Headers/Ceramic Coated
Custom Burned ECM (GMTuners.com)
ZZP Stage 2 Intercooler / Flojet Pump
1.8 Pro Magnum Roller Rockers
2.8/3.0 DUB Non-Slip
42.5 Lucas Injectors
LS6 Valve Springs

And what did you do to a Fiero to make it run 9.873 seconds in the 1/4 mile?
