Newbie here...pics of my Focus Tuner

Here's my Tamiya Focus done as a phantom Saleen Focus. Decals were borrowed from the Revell Saleen Mustang CV, matching the Focus fender contours quite well. I used Aoshima 19's (wish they weren't OOP). Interior basically box-stock, w/some Pegasus woofers added in back. Paint is a combination of Testors enamels, starting w/an orange base (Go Mango) and covered w/Turn Signal Amber, pearl powders and clear. Rockers/trim accented w/Scale Motorsports carbon fiber decals, headlights are MV lenses, driving lights are cheap craft-store imitations.

Wow! That is the nicest Focus model I have ever seen! I've seen quite a few and that one has them hands down. Nice quality work. :bandit:

Question I think...

it might actually be Mr. Downie; he belongs to a model car club in that part of the country (Atlanta, Georgia) If so, we're in for a treat.

Focus

Yes, that's me-no lies! I've got plenty more to post as time allows. Found this site through another friend (Veyron), have spent a lot of time on the Hobby Heaven message board. This board's a bit closer to my current modeling interest and focus.

Excellent!!! Glad to have you on board, I'm sure everyone here is going to love your work, particularly the imports. Is that white RX7 yours in the FOKI pics? Lets see more.

Welcome...! Seems like a hearty influx of magnificent modelers, including yourself, have found us. (Not that we were hiding... :silly2: )

edit: And did you get to see Laurent's Focus? You'd be impressed!

WOW! I did see one pic of Laurent's Focus yesterday, thanks for posting the thread. Superb model, and great choice of rims! I built mine almost two years ago, took me awhile to finish the conversion. He did a great job (better than me that's for sure) getting the rims to fit under the fenders. I'm going to get addicted seeing all these models that make me want to spend 24-7 in the workshop...
