Question car reving itself???

hi im new to this, just wondering if any1 can help me, i brought a 106 quilcksilver bout 2 months ago and now it has started to rev itself and im not sure y. if any1 has had a similar problem could they plz let me know wat mite be the matter or any help would be appricated. thnx andy.

Please give us as much information about your problem as you can.

Does it happen all the time? Does it happen in specific conditions, for example when the AC is working? Up to what amount of RPM does the engine rev?

Once we know exactly what are the symptoms of this problem we can then look for a solution to it.

Alrite Im New To This To But Ive Got A 106 Gti And It Revs On Its Own In Wet Conditions But Its Starting To Do This All The Time Now It Will Rev To About 2 Grand Then Stay There For A While And If I Press On The Accelerator It Wil Cut Out Or Nearly Cut Out Can't Figure Out The Problem Been To The Garage And He Doesnt No Off Hand Please Help Its Doin My Head In Lol
