2006 GT Mustang.."tuner"

Hey guys,

Well, after a frustrating 12 months away from modelling..I'm easing myself back with a semi detailed/modified street racer....

Revell have done a great job on the new 'Stang.....I just thought I'd style it like I'd have one......if only I could......Have to be happy with 1/25.....

The front lip is being modded, to give it a bit lower look, opened mouth for plenty of air entry.....I'll probly add side skirts too, just to compliment it...
The hood has vents grafted in, from the hood of Fly's SAS R-34 kit. They will suit the style of the build, as the hood will be C/F decaled....

On the rear C/F boot will sit a GT style wing from Tamiya Ings kit...
Wheels and tyres are 19" from Fujimi.

Let me know your thoughts......

Colour will be either yellow or orange

As it progress', more pics will come....For now, please enjoy.

Cheers
stump

Re: 2006 GT Mustang.."tuner"

Cheers guys....

Some_Kid,
Metallic candy green would look good, hey, but I think I'll go with yellow as Martin voted for.......It was my first choice, as I have a couple of other cars to do, and a couple of them will be orange.....may need to throw in a green one....

Russell, Rob and NOMADGAMER.....
Great to be back guys...
Yeah, things have been good Russell...very busy in the new job (been there just over 12 months...man, time gets away....)

Wow, this shows it takes a few enhancements to make this car stand out!

Great looking front lip and hood. It might look killer in some oldschool orange.
Have you thought about making bigger flares on the rear?

Oli

Hey Oli,
Not a bad option mate..the wheel/tyre package is a bit big for it actually, so fattening it up may look better...
I'll look into it......I thought of going down a tyre size (width) but pumped guards sounds heaps tougher...(muscle-wise)
