I pulled the plugs on my aspire and..

The insulators were quite white, so I am thinking she is running a little hot, this somehow changed when I changed the oil to synthetic. I could not read the dang dipstick since it was so clear, so I battled back and forth draining and re putting in oil.

This dip stick sucks, on one side there is no oil and on the other side it reads, so which one do you go with? The low side or the side you can read?

The only other thing that changed was we washed down the engine, we have done it before with no problems, but this time it got all kinds of things wet since we had the service engine light go on. But after it dried out it went off.

So I am not sure what it was the oil or something else failing that caused these plugs insulators to look that white. They looked new and are 2 years old.
