Cool WIP - Subaru Impreza Q8 - Cunico IRC '99

Hi guys
here I open my new rally wip. This time i choose to work on a car of the Italian Racing Champion of '99.
The starting kit is the Tamiya Arai version of the Subaru, and the Transkit is the Studio 27.

First thing i got to do is to clear the body from the molding lines and work woth sandpaper...

here are first pics...

I remove some plastic part i will substitute with detail set of Ranaissance...

that's all 4 now...

Bye
Ricky

Re: WIP - Subaru Impreza Q8 - Cunico IRC '99

hi guys
here I am again with some updates....

i finished to apply spoiler and some other parts before starting to paint the body with grey primer.

On the roof i fill the little hole with tamiya putty

and on the spoiler some putty too....

the work on the body it's ok... now i start to apply the primer...

at the moment the body seems to be ok.... i am happy of it at the moment

after this... i start to apply the TS-50 with airbrush.

that's all for now... next step is start to apply the s27 decals....

Bye Ricky

Oh noes!! You went too fast!!

These lines are gaps from the way Tamiya engineered the parts. They're not present on the bumper of the real car and should be filled.

Maybe you can still go back and touch it up?
