93 Villager door locks when closed

I just bought a 93 villager and when I close the drivers door all the doors lock automatically. Does anybody have any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Could you give me a little more information on the relay, how to find, is it a snap on relay etc. Thanks in advance for the help.

Here's what I see in the wiring diagrams. There is no actual relay by itself but there is a Power Door Lock Control Module.

Power Door Lock Module : Below center of I/P, mounted on center I/P support bracket --- C283

Before you replace it, you might try removing the door lock switch in the drivers door and then slam the door a few times. Maybe your switch is old and has loose contacts inside that make and break when the door is closed?

I have the same problem in my 94(among a host of other problems), I will try the driver side switch thing, but also what is the I/P?

My 94 has been doing it for years, I just think of it as a security system. Anybody know where the speed sensor is, my speedometer and odometer wont work anymore. Plus I could use a center lightbar (between the headlights) and a passenger cornering light.

I had a rough time finding replacement bulbs for that lightbar. Nobody seems to cross reference it. The dealer wants $11 apiece! Here's the deal: I got mine at Autozone. I had to call several of them because not all of them carry this item, but the part number is Sylvania 2040. They were only $2 - $3 each there. I think it takes 4.
