questions about the z
I am considering buying a 350 z ( Enthusiust) or a Rsx -s with a factory body kit from japan that cost about the same price. My main consern about the z is its weight. Does anyone know why this car weights 3100 lbs? The Rsx is a 4 seater and weights in the low 2000's. THe v6 enigine should not make that much of a difference because it is almost completley aluminum. If anyone knows are there any ways of weight reduction for this car and where?

only thing i could say is.......there;s no way a RSX-S would be able to compare w/ the Z....Z will cost at least $10,000 canadian more than the RSX........while u got 200hp versus 287hp....and with the Z u get the turque of the 3.5L.......and only why the Z weighs so much more is that it's chassie is good and strong and has a lot more materials than the RSX

RSX-S ~2800lbs, FWD, 200hp
350Z ~3200lbs, RWD, 287hp (winner!) The choice is clear..... |
