1970 Toyota Celica 1600GT

I remember seeing these on the road as a kid & have always had a soft spot for 'em. Hasegawa kit OOB except for Aoshima stretchwalls and a lowering job. Paint is Peugeot Posidion Blue Metallic.

As always, thanks for looking
Cheers
Andy

All the trim that isn't chrome in the kit (mainly window surrounds) is bmf
Thanks

geez Andy you are the old school import KING!!! Your Celica reminds me of this F20C-powered car I saw a few weeks ago at the JCCS show in Long Beach, CA:

Keep up the superb work, I live vicariously through your builds

Re: 1970 Toyota Celica 1600GT

Very nice. It reminds me of the same car that 675datsun posted, I saw the same car in person at the same show he did and that car and your model replica (although i'm guessing it's unintentional) are both fantastic looking. Those wheels you used are a perfect match.

Gorgeous. The blue looks awesome on it, and your build is so clean I'd eat off it. Not like you'd let me eat off it, but I wouldn't mind. That's how clean it is.
