You really should take John Piparo's car out of your Avatar if you don't have permission from him to use it since his car is a sponsored vehcile.

Re: Cold Air Intake Help

the cold air intake is vibrant performance. the sensor is stock. i ordered the intake online. i think i ordered it from the parts bin (never ordering from there again, way too many problems w/ shipping and other little things). but its the real Vibrant Performance cold air intake and it fits like a charm but cant get the sensor in. i tried shaving the rubber inlet and i even tried some lubricant.

Re: Cold Air Intake Help

on mine it was like fitting a softball through a garden hose, i had to use this really good lubricant for about 20 minutes, then i went outside to work on the car, just kidding, but seriously, it was a bitch and a half, have you tried using a lubricant of any kind??

Re: Cold Air Intake Help

i dont remmeber what the stuff i used was, maybe try motor oil, if nothing else, you could wrap electrical tape around it and just kinda shove it in there, if you get desparate enough to do that be sure to do a damn good job
