1988 Wrangler 4x4 light on dash doesn't shut off
My 4x4 indicator light on the dash doesn't shut off. 4x4 works fine and disengages ok, the light just doesn't shut off. Any Ideas out there?

There is a switch in the linkage that lights the lindicator when you are in four wheel drive. Check the linkage to make sure the switch is operating correctly.
