1997 Concorde Belt Replacemnt

Friend has a1997 Concorde, 3.5 liter and wants to change serpentine belt (does not have a Haynes). I have not seem the car but assume (?) that it has a tensioner pulley similar to my '96 Caravan that rotates to relese tension. True of False? I told him I would help him out (mistake)?
