Hi Im new
I have a cavalier and the bonnet leaver have been a bit iffy for a while now, it had to be really pulled to open, but now i can pull it as far as i can and nothing happens at all. and i really need the bonnet open as i have to check the water as it over heated the other day and is losing water somewhere. can anyone tell me how i can open my bonnet another way? or what can be done? Thanks.

So the hinge that hold the hood down is broken? What you can do is take a screw driver and play with the hinge from the outside until you pop it open thats what I had to do with one of my cars because that damn thing broke on me and couldnt open my hood. and then you may have to replace it since its broken.
