Best single turbo choice w/ stock block?

There's so much stuff on the market for the RB it's unbelievable but i'd basically like to have a simple setup with my stock block RB. What single turbo and manifold w/ external gate setup would be good for a reliable street 500whp on stock block?

Re: Best single turbo choice w/ stock block?

Stock internals could not take that much power, need an engine rebuild for more than 400WHP. Apex'i RX6 turbo kit would be a nice choice for around 400WHP or more(depending on boost)

Twins are better. Just get some 2530s and be done with it, that will get you in the ball park.

Re: Best single turbo choice w/ stock block?

Hi,

i prefer HKS TO4Z on the rb26, i have one on my GTR34 with 700cc injectors, tail44mm,trust intake,hks264/264 cam, apexi pfc,zx32MAF, water injection, innovate wide band o2, fiber carbon drive shaft, je pistons, eagle rods, ATI balancer, and many other....

i'm doing 1.2 bar and it's realy responsive and fast and i'm doing that till 8000 rpm which is my rev limit and no need to go further.

about the rwhp till now i did not go to dyno .i guess about around 490 and 540rwhp.

and i'm faster then my friends with t78 with 1.3,1.4 bar and turbonetics t66 and t72 with 1.4 bar.
just i'm vary liky with my hks to4z.
thanks
