Exclamation rod pistons and crank combo's

yeah everyone will b16a3 pistons and rods work well on a b18c1 crank in the gsr block. it goin in a 93 del dol si

No. they'll be stick out of the block at tdc. I also think C's have a differnt bearing size, not possative on this... either way they are too long.

B16 rods are shorter than GSR rods aren't they?? So as i understand him, you would actually lower compression by doing that....maybe i'm the one reading this all wrong.

I know that the GSR has a longer stroke, but the same bore...

All B series are the same bore, as are most all honda series engines. The displacement is changed by the stroke, when you increase the stroke, from say 1.6 to 1.8 liters you have to shorten the rods and/or the compression height of the pistons. By installing 1.6 pistons/rods on a 1.8 crank you end up with rod/pistons that are too long for that crank.
