Auto Trans locked in Park

We have a 02 RSX that is lock in park, does anyone have idea what causes this and how to correct?

I don't have an automatic, but I know that Honda civics have a keyhole next to the shifter to lock it out. If the RSX has one put your ignition key in there and turn the lock. Hope that's all it is.
