Talking

A buddy of mine just got a Subaru WRX it is int he Yellow. I think he sad it was only one of 40 to be produced for the US. It has all the options including the 5-speed. Fairly quick for a four cyclinder. Here is a pic for those that do not know what a WRX looks like...this is obviously not his car...

I've wanted one of these for about a week now...stinkin' fast, but still practical as a daily, all weather driver.

I "built my own" at www.subaru.com With the options I put on it, it ended up being $30,059 US (loaded except $3000 BBS wheels, $200 bra, and a couple other small things)

They're a regular production model...as far as I know there will be much more than 40 for the US

Sadly but truly they do make an Electronic 4spd Automatic trans. The good news is that the 5spd manual trans is standard. The Auto is optional.

The autobox is also a hefty $1000. Not worth it. They shouldn't even offer it. Stupid autos....

FYI - I read somewhere (Car and Driver or maybe Road & Track?) that there will be a total of 10,000 MY02 WRX's to be built for sale in the US.
