I bought the 575 GTC from Tecnomodel and my friend P64 built the Lm 2004 version a few months ago. The quality is outstanding, let me say a Tamiya made of resin. I'll re-post the pictures of the kit in the next days and ask Alessandro to post the pictures of his 575.

Re: Tecnomodel F430 GT

Tecnomodel was one of the technical sponsors of the contest Monza Models 2006. In that occasion they unveiled the master of their F430 GT and I was able to get some closer shots. Enjoy.

If yes do you think they had to fill the window's hole in that manner? manually?

Re: Tecnomodel F430 GT

I just watched a couple of them race at the ALMS race at Mosport yesterday. They also finished 1 and 2 in the GT2 class, so I want one more than ever!

Excellent news, though I have one question:
i)RobiJ: do you know if Tecnomodels will release the Risi Competizione version, or any other race versions? I believe the kit will be of the 'presentation' car, and so will not carry any actual sponsorship markings. I intend to write to Tecnomodels to implore them to make the Risi car (if I knew how to post pics, I could try to post one I took with Stephane Ortelli standing beside it). If the Risi car is not made, I think I will wait for them to do it, or will go with BBR's 1/43 kit.

ii)Tire Giant: as for quality, no worries. Tecnomodels' stuff is outstanding. As good, maybe even better, than Studio 27 models. A 'Tamiya resin kit' as someone wrote. I have one of their 1/43 F575 GT kits, and am waiting for a 1/24 'Baron Connor Racing' F575 GT to arrive. Only drawback is they are more expensive, but then again, quality is never cheap!

desmo16 > I spoke with them during the mentioned contest and they told me that, for the debut (Dec 2006/Jan 2007), the versions available will be Risi Competizione Sebring 2006 and Scuderia Ecosse Lm 2006. At the moment I do not have additional infos. End of September, near Milano, a Model Expo will take place and I guess, as usually they're doing, there will be further news.

Bye: Roberto

Thank you, Roberto.
It's settled, then (for me, anyways). The Risi Competizione version is the one I will wait for. Knowing Tecnomodels, it will be a fantastic model!
I have e-mailed them, and if there is any additional info to add to what you have written above, I will post it here.

Michael
