Went racing with GSX !!!

Well, a lot has happend in the last week so I decided to post my experiences.
Since I got the GSX, its either modifications or slow driving until this saturday. I was driving to my friends house and 2 2G GSX pass me. I catch up at the light and ask em where they going ( we talk how rare our cars are around here ). They are going to the illegal races so I am like NAW, I dont want to race it. So I make a right and I am driving slow like always and look on my right and a grandma in some wagon is passing me. So I am like WTF did I buy this car for, I make a U turn and follow the GSXs. I called my friend ( He drives a 04 EVO ) and he some more people. So we are heading to where they are racing and I am thinking its gonna be a few cars BUT wtf there was like 150+ cars. Every one parked on the side of the road and a huge line waiting to race. Cops around here went crazy for street racing, they take your car even if you watching and also give you a big fine. I was like screw that. I lined up and ina few minutes it was mine turn to race. OH my what lines up with me ... a 1G GSX. I launched mine from about 5500K and took him by 4 cars. I make a u turn and its me against a Tiburon V6, I see big brakes, exhaust, and hear a intake ( sounded like a turbo ). I launch it from 5-6K and took him by 5-6 cars. I line up again and its a Integra, dont want to talk about that since it was no challenge. The next race was against a GST Spyder, he smokes BOTH 2G GSX that came with me. One guy with the auto tells me, DUDE learn how to shift !! I am shifting perfectly and launching it beatifully and he drives a fucking auto and tells ME how to drive and I am like are you serious haha. They talk about how he will kick my ass, I line up with the GST ( that thing looks like a airplane inside, gauges and lights everywhere like a christmas tree) I launch my GSX at 5K and take him by 2 cars. I come back to them all proud and they are all amaze and then BAM, my car died ( I think I was in gear but didnt even press the clucth when I came to a stop ). I try starting it up, but no power. Battery went dead, then a kid screams behind me " COPS COPS " and I am like fucking SHIT I AM SCREWD. Cars fly around me, and my car doesnt even have power to show the lights on dashboard. A good friend of mine came with my friend with the EVO. I see him running towards me between the cars and I am like surrounded by speeding cars running with my hood open. I put it in neutral and start pushing it with him, we pick up a little speed and I jump in and put it in first gear and drop the clutch). Car starts, I jump out of my car and close the hood and then I see there are almost no cars on the street every one ran away except us, and a chopper has that big light on me , so what do I do, I show his ass the middle finger and I run like hell. On the way I see about 15-20 police cars writting violations and screaming while 100 cars speeding away. It was crazy but I was excited. I never thought my car could perform that well. By the way, my boost is at 16psi since I get fuel cut at 17psi. I got new battery for free because of warranty and I am going there again this week, I am gonna race more. I will try to get a video of it all. Man, its gonna be crazy. Also today while I was getting new battery from autozone, a guy in red 2000 Ford Lighting asked me what turbo I had. We talked and he was like " You wanna race" and I am like sure. He tells me his car is a V8 supercharged 380hp but he had a huge filter and supercharged pulley so he was above 400hp. I am like fuck, I will embarass myself so after he gets something he take off to a street close by. I am already late for school but I wanted to race him. We lined up and he beep 3 times, I launch it like crazy and by 2nd gear I was ahead of him 3 cars. We raced a 2nd time and it was even worse for him, I was ahead by 5 cars by 4 gear. So we park and we talk. He tells me he got 12.3 on the track but his spark plugs are bad. I am like OK. But that thing was a V8 and I saw the supercharger and everything so I know it wasnt a Ford F150 with a lighting sticker on it.
He takes off and tells me we will race again once he gets his stuff done. I was like wow, I was gonna sell my GSX but now I might think about keeping it a little longer. This weekend I will try to get some videos for sure.
Oh by the way, now all my friends wanna drive the GSX but I am like naw, since they were making fun of my car since it was a 2.0 inline 4 but now , they all scared to race me hahaha, I feel proud. I am dumping moe money into it next week, suspension and exhaust manifold .

Good story, a little hard to follow at times, but interesting to read.

Next time throw a few blank lines inbetween sections so we don't go crazy.

WEEE! Makes you feel good doesn't it! i drive like you.... i think thats what keeps my DSM running... i never "beat" on it unless there is someone with tits, and as ass watching... or a dickhead who thinks my car is a POS... but yeah, NICE story! for the video also.

Hey guys, I just got back from racing again, and osrry I really was gonna get a video but I forgot. I PROMISE I will get a video this saturday thats coming. I raced 2 cars this time since cops are really on the alert around here and came after only 1 hour after people started gathering.. Last week some kids were racing and one took out a cop doing around 90+. Kid died instantly and cop is on critical condition. The kid ran a red light. Where I go, there is no traffic and very minimal risk ( but there is always risk ). I will make a video this time and you will be able to see my ride . I raced a 93 Hatchback turbo and a 3000GT. The 3000GT was weak, had minor modifications but was no challenge. The Honda on the other hand scared the shit out of me. I was parked on the side of the road with my friends and this Honda was kicking ass. His 1st gear was hella long, sounded like he took it up to 10rpms. All I saw was, slicks, exhaust, front mount, SAFC2 or SAFC I couldnt make out, strut bars and suspension. My friends were like " race him, race him " so me feeling all cocky lined up with him and every one gathered around us like we were driving a Ferrari and a Bugatti or something. I was nurvous and when the guy started spinning his tires so he could warm em I got scared as hell. That thing sounded like a frikin monster, seeing also he was turbo and his car weighted as much as my engine I was pretty scared. Also, before we got to race as I lined up with him, he asked me how fast I was and said that I was not worth his gas or something but I manage to piss him off so he could race me. Long story short, I got him by 1 car from the start since I was AWD and made it about 2 cars till we finished. He kept up pretty well. I was amazed that he got traction that fast for a FWD but I really dont know much about Hondas.

Next week expect a video and a couple of races with me ( hopefully ) owning some ricers .

wow, that Hon-DUH sounds pretty mean... one in a million for the honda guys... most of them cut off their mufflers, and put some stickers on, then their car is fast... lol

How much weight have you lost so far?

I am on a diet too. I was 265 lbs, and I am now 236lbs!!! My goal is also 180-200 range. I am 6'3" btw...how bout yourself? Keep up the good work!

Not for my local late night races. Right now there are about 4 to 5 fast hatches. The fastest one runs an 11.8 right now.
